Requirements to Access an Ozone Dossier as a EuOTA General Member
To access the Ozone Dossier through the European Ozone Trade Association (EuOTA), you must first be a General Member of EuOTA. Membership allows you to participate in the ongoing compliance process under the European Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR).
There are two options to gain access to the Ozone Dossier:
-
Shared Ownership — One-time fee of €60,000
-
Letter of Access (LOA) — €11,000 per year for 10 years
Why is the Ozone Dossier so expensive?
These fees cover the significant investment required for the first stage of BPR compliance. For a full explanation, please read more here.
Understanding the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR)
The BPR is a strict two-stage process for all ozone-based products in Europe:
-
Ozone Dossier Submission and Approval — ensuring active substance authorization.
-
Product Application Submission and Approval — obtaining final product authorization.
Access to the Ozone Dossier — whether through shared ownership or a Letter of Access (LOA) — provides coverage for your ozone-based products across all European countries.
